1971- Eliyahu Cohen
Cohen was born in Morocco in 1952 and made Aliyah with his family in 1954. He studied carpentry for two years and became a professional carpenter in Northern Israel, on Kibbutz Dan. He joined the IDF in 1970 and although he wanted to be a paratrooper, he was placed in the Armor Corps. Just a few months after being drafted, Eliyahu was injured and he died three days later in 1971.
