2003- Yael Kfir
Yael was born in Ashkelon in 1981. She was a source of pride for her family, friends, and everyone that knew her. She loved to sing and participated in the choir at her school. After her death, the school renamed the choir, “Yael’s Camari Choir”. In 2000, Yael joined the IDF and after successfully completing an officer’s program, she worked as a training officer of the technical training wing of the Signal Corps. Her commanders and fellow officers admired and loved her very much. Yael was killed in a terror attack at Tzrifin in 2003. She was 22 when she was killed. She was buried at the military cemetery in Ashkelon. Yael is survived by her parents and sister.
